Russell's KTL boys (Kokoda Trekking Ltd) are renowned for their uke'ule playing and singing along the trail. Whilst they realise most trekkers walk the trail due to the historical signifance, they also want to make it fun and an adventure.

As Stan Bisset said to Russell in January, the war was a long time ago, its good to remember, but nowadays the people who walk should enjoy their trek.

He mentioned his grandson who carried a heavy pack and did it tough, he added, there is no need for that now.....
