Talking "Annie Get Your Gun" Lae 1992 (I think)

Hi there,

I lived in Lae from July 1990 to the end of 92. Loved it! Life was one big adventure! Have missed it a lot since I left, and living in Oz is quite tedious by comparison. Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone has any snaps from the "superlative" production (by Maureen with her hubby, Richard on the piano) of "Annie Get Your Gun".

Looking through this site, I was suprised to read that Anderson's burned down a few years ago. Was it deliberate? And the new yacht club looks very flash, however the golf club looks exactly the same. It's so funny to look back at things like when the new Mobil Service Station was built - it was (nearly) exciting! Where else could you live to consider the erection of some petrol pumps a significant event?
